Our rooms are structured to offer the opportunities for both quiet and active play, while promoting cooperation between children, and allowing them to organize their time. We encourage children to use their imaginations and to make their own decisions.
  

Curriculum and Activities

Our Peek-A-Bears learn through a variety of activities that promote child development. We offer stimulating activities in an environment that encourages creativity, and is colourful and bright.

Our curriculum parallels the school curriculum, so as your child learns at school, his/her lessons will be reinforced at Peek-A-Bears. (If your child is attending school, please feel free to bring in work that your child is learning or that needs extra emphasis.)

Our environment is warm and welcoming and we encourage children to be creative and have fun. Activities include:
• Creative art
• Computers
• Reading (language & literacy)
• Writing
• Letter of the week (“A”, “B”…)
• Blocks and puzzles
• Music (singing & dancing)
• Outdoor play
• Indoor creative activities
• Monthly guest speaker series
  
A daily report will be sent home, summarizing your child's day at Peek-A-Bears! Parents will continuously be informed and we welcome your input.
